According to Forbes, entrepreneurs must have resilience, focus, the ability to find and manage people, the ability to sell an idea, a willingness to learn and the ability to continually self reflect (The Top Skills Every Entrepreneur Needs, 2018). The Young Entrepreneurs course will assist students to develop these skills in order to achieve success in the business world.

Young Entrepreneurs students will utilise their resilience, persistence, goal-setting and reflection skills in order to solve real-world challenges experienced by consumers. Participants will have to walk in a customer's shoes in order to empathise with their target market. Students will apply the design thinking model in order to identify, analyse and solve an issue experienced by consumers (customers). They will also generate ideas to solve issues that arise, build prototypes and test their concept.

This course is challenging, yet thoroughly enjoyable for those wanting to begin their entrepreneurial journey while still in high school.
